Maltese FAQ
How big do Maltese get?
Most adults weigh between 4 and 7 pounds, a perfect size for apartments and laps.
Do Maltese shed?
Very little. Their single coat sheds minimally, but it needs regular brushing and grooming.
Are they good with children?
They are affectionate and gentle. With small children, supervised play is best because of their size.
When can my puppy go home?
Usually from 8 to 10 weeks, once the vet has checked them and they eat well on their own.
